My name is Gayle Forbes and I am the Founder and Manager of Greenhill Outdoor Nursery. I have been a Primary School Teacher for over 12 years and I have been lucky enough to teach a range of ages and stages in Scotland, Australia and the UAE. It has been a dream of mine to open my own nursery and I am so excited to share our beautiful family setting and original 'happy place' with you all. As a mum of two young daughters, having a setting where children can explore the outdoors and learn through play and exploration is extremely important to me. I look forward to welcoming families on our new and exciting journey.

Hello, my name is Shannon and I am very excited to be welcoming all the children and families into Greenhill Outdoor Nursery and I can’t wait to get to get to know you all!
I began my career in childcare completing my HNC in 2018. Childcare has always been a passion of mine
I have two young children of my own and appreciate the importance of outdoor learning and love to see my own children thrive in nature.

Hi I’m Lucy!
I had wanted to work in early years from a young age and started my career in 2023 when I was 16. I have worked in a number of different settings but eventually found my home at Greenhill.
I have always loved outdoor play and learning and love being able to watch our young learners grow and develop in confidence, take risks and make friendships. I want to be able to make a difference in children’s lives and be able to help them flourish and thrive so they can develop all the necessary skills and tools they will need in life!
I am so excited to meet your wee one and make sure they have the best outdoor experience!
